manage your physical well-being.


We specialise in:

    • Sports injuries and performance optimisation
    • Post-surgical rehabilitation (from onset to return to work/sport)
    • Adolescent treatment (not just growing pains!)

Matthew Brown



Matt is the Owner and Director of PhysioFit. He is a qualified APA Physiotherapist with a post-graduate Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, as well as undergraduate degrees in Human Movements and Education. Matt is also a member of the Sports Physiotherapists Group of the APA.


Matt’s focus is on providing the highest level diagnostic and treatment skills to patients – not only allowing for optimal recovery and management of injuries but also injury prevention and optimising sports performance. He currently works closely with several of the sporting programs at one of Australia’s top sporting nurseries – The Southport School (TSS) assisting their athletes reach optimal sporting potential and return to training and competition as quickly and safely as possible after injury.


Matt also works with several club Rugby squads and has provided physiotherapy services to the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) for their Schoolboy Teams, National Junior Gold Cup and School’s Sevens Programs.


Matt has been the team physiotherapist for the Gold Coast Blaze NBL and Gold Coast Titans NRL teams and has provided physiotherapy services to the Queensland Schoolboy Rugby Union teams since 2005.

Bec Chambers

Senior Physiotherapist


Bec grew up in Canberra and completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. She has a Graduate Diploma in Human Movement Science and a Bachelor of Medical Science. Bec is a current member of the APA.


Bec moved to the Gold Coast at the start of 2011 and started work with us at PhysioFit. She has further qualifications in Pilates, dry needling and dynamic taping. Bec has provided physiotherapy services to the Canberra Boys Grammar Rugby team and the Australian Equestrian Team. She currently works with the TSS Rugby and Aquatic programs.


Bec works closely with a number of GP’s on the Gold Coast and runs PhysioFit’s clinic at the Bundall Medical Centre.


Outside work Bec likes to run, swim and weight train, and when time permits go for the occasional horse ride.

Jasmine Roulstone

Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist


Jasmine joined the PhysioFit team in 2016 as a welcome addition to our highly qualified clinical staff.


Jasmine has a dual degree in physiotherapy and exercise physiology from Griffith University and brings a wealth of knowledge and know how to PhysioFit in combining Physiotherapy with exercise.


Jasmine has under taken post-graduate studies in dry needling, acupuncture and Pilates. She runs our Active Lifestyle classes and our Bundall Clinic. Jasmine is the current physiotherapist for Griffith University’s local rugby team Griffith Colleges, providing the club’s game day sports medicine services and injury management.


Away from the clinic Jas loves her high intensity F45 classes!

Lewis White



Lewis joined PhysioFit early in 2017. He holds a dual degree in Exercise Science and Commerce from Deakin University as well as his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Bond University.


Lewis is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and since graduation has obtained Level 1,2 and 3 Clinical Pilates Equipment Instructor qualifications. He has also undertaken post graduate studies in dry needling and acupuncture.


Lewis has completed post-graduate research into shoulder pain and tendinopathy and has completed further training on the assessment and management of spinal conditions. Lewis utilises a combination of hands on therapy and exercise based rehabilitation and is passionate about working with patients to achieve their health and fitness goals.


Originally from England, Lewis is a rugby union tragic who also enjoys snowboarding, cross-fit and running.

Annie Rice

Practice Manager


Annie has completed a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science and Secondary Education. She is currently completing an honours degree in Psychology.


Annie joined the team at PhysioFit in April 2013. She has a particular interest in Sports Psychology, peak performance and the psychological barriers to injury rehabilitation. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle and her interests include cycling and her daily gym workouts.

Candice Scott

Remedial Massage Therapist


Since completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage two years ago, Candice moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to establish herself as a qualified massage therapist.


Her client portfolio has rapidly built to include elite athletes and national sporting teams. When she is not working her magic at PhysioFit, Candice also works as a contracted Remedial Therapist for the Gold Coast Titans.


Candice specializes in sports massage including preparations for high athletic performance and injury prevention. She also incorporates cupping into her treatments where required, to ensure clients experience the best results.


Candice is a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT). She is a registered provider for private health funds.


Outside of work Candice loves most sports including swimming, bike riding, running, netball & gym.

Darren Gaffney



Darren Gaffney is an experienced member of the Gold Coast Foot Centre Team. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain resulting from injuries sustained in sport and other physical activities.


Whether you’re a gym junkie, weekend warrior, junior or elite athlete, if you’re experiencing foot or lower limb pain, a consultation with Darren is a great place to start. He can give advice on the best footwear for you, can prescribe and fit orthotics if needed, and discuss any ongoing treatment needs with your physiotherapist or massage therapist. He is currently available at PhysioFit on Fridays.
